Style
Posts should contain name of cat(s) and location for example - Name (Region, Country).
Posts are in English… for now.
For English-speaking countries, posts use that regional spelling.
For non-English speaking countries the default is Canadian spelling (sorry).
Puns areencouraged in headlines
Content
Posts should be restricted to the activities (or non-activities) and interests of cats.
Cats are not interested in human prejudices or affiliations.
Feline malevolence is allowed, targeted hatred is not.
No doxing. Locations are broad for a reason, and no humans should ever be named.
Additional Caveats
The Cat News editors can decide not to publish a submitted story for any reason.
The Cat News editors do not have to tell you the reason.
The Cat News Illustrator decides if an article will have an illustration or not.
