Cat News was created by Pippin (with a very small amount of help from his human assistants), so that the world may know of his glorious comings and goings. Since he is frequently napping, stories about cats from around the world are also published and celebrated. Pippin is five years old and lives in Coquitlam, British Columbia, Canada, among beautiful mountains that he mostly ignores because they are not edible.

Pippin feels that humans spend too much time doom-scrolling and not enough time paying attention to him. Cat News is a healthy compromise, where lots of cats can get attention, and humans get more important (and more fun) things to scroll through.

No Olive Lost

Pippin (BC, Canada) will no longer stand for the insolence of the olive tree. He found the perfect time in the middle of the night to ambush it and send it crashing to the floor.

Cat Rollercoaster

The humans were doing the very annoying thing of moving the furniture around, so Pippin (BC, Canada) very helpfully decided to pitch in. He rode the big yellow armchair all the way down the stairs.

Curtain Call

There are new curtains in the bedroom and Pippin (BC, Canada) absolutely loves them. He loves them so much he wants to murder them.

Net Gain

The humans have been trying different locations for their wifi router, including a box that can be mounted on the wall. Pippin (BC, Canada) prefers it on the floor though, even if all the holes get full of fur.

Dinner Injustice

Pippin (BC, Canada) was very upset today, because his humans ate dinner early. Despite his protests, apparently this does not mean that he also gets dinner early.

Under Cover

Pippin (BC, Canada) has invented yet another way to wake up his humans, which he tested out today. He climbed under the covers, past one of his humans’ heads, crawled over their body, until he found their ankles. From there he can bite the ankles until the human notices him.
