Making Frenemies

A cartoon of a tabby and white cat looking out a window at an angry-looking robin.

Pippin (BC, Canada) has somehow managed to make a friend, or rather a frenemy out of a local robin. Everyday for the last week its been flying back and forth, hitting the window with its wings until he comes to look, so it can tease him. Pippin loves it.

Rewind

A cartoon of a tabby and white Maine Coon cat sitting on a TV remote.

Pippin (BC, Canada) does not know what all the fuss over him sitting on the remote is about. Sure, the movie jumped back to the start, but the humans should be paying attention to him anyway, not some silly film.

Twisted Not Evil

A cartoon of a dark grey cat sleeping in a twisted position.

While he always walks around like he is up to no good, Bernard (Ontario, Canada) does not actually seem to have any malicious intent, probably. Maybe in his dreams. When he sleeps he is twisted, but not evil.

Old News

A cartoon of a tabby and white Maine Coon cat saying'I will kill you' to a person holding out their hand.

Want to take a look back at old Cat News? We are now slowly re-uploading them in random order here, if you want to relive what the cats of the world have been doing for the last few years.

Reusable Wrapping

A cartoon of a tricolour cat playing with some pieces of colourful paper.

The humans really wanted all the wrapping paper tidied up by now, but to their amazement Cookie (Ontario, Canada) is still playing with it, even now. There are little pieces she keeps spreading around the house.

Breaking It Down

A cartoon of a tabby and white Maine Coon cat playing with the top of a cat water fountain.

Pippin (BC, Canada) discovered that his water fountain had not been put together exactly right after cleaning, so removed the top and chased it around until his humans discovered the problem.

Gentle Viewing

A cartoon of a fluffy tabby and white cat watching a tiny bug.

Pippin (BC, Canada) is very excited to report that he found a bug in the house. He did nothing except watch it carefully, because he literally wouldn't hurt a fly (but he would hurt a person's feet).

Roll Free

A cartoon of a fluffy black cat biting on a toilet roll.

No one knows how she did it, but Henrietta (Alberta, Canada) somehow freed a toilet roll from the holder in the washroom. She left it full of teeth marks.

A Big World

A cartoon of a light grey cat sitting behind a dark blue curtain.

Other than the occasional rustling noise, Prince (Bristol, UK) has just been quietly watching the world from behind the curtain. In his opinion, it is all very interesting, but confusing.

New In Principle

A cartoon of a tabby and white Maine Coon cat crouched ready to pounce on a hairtie tied to a stick.

Pippin (BC, Canada) has been playing wildly all afternoon, because he loves to get new toys. This is true even when the new toy is just a hair tie his human tied to a stick.
