Voltaire (Saskatchewan, Canada) was not going to stand for their being a rival predator in the house. He made sure to show the newcomer, a dinosaur soft toy, who was top cat.
Pippin (BC, Canada) has been very brave lately and spent much more time outside on little walks outside the house. He of course runs back indoors if he spots any strangers walking around too loudly, but he is very excited by all the sights and smells.
The human's have been leaving their balcony door open a little bit at night, to try and get a cool breeze going and help them sleep in the Summer heat. Noah (BC, Canada) likes the curtains moving though, and has now realised that they give him the perfect spot to ambush anyone who gets up in the night.
Badger (Maine, USA) normally gets bored of toys pretty quickly, but not his little bird on a string. It is slowly losing all of its feathers over time though, and no longer really looks like a bird.
Linda (Cork, Ireland) made herself comfortable, maybe too comfortable, on her human's feet. So her human had no choice but to watch another episode of their TV show. Once again, a cat doing what's best for everyone.
Lydia (Greater London, UK) has been making herself at home in her human's clothing storage box, and of course, she makes sure she is the shape of the container she is in. Today she is a cube.
ChunChun (USA) helped his humans declutter by knocking a clock, a humidity gauge, a remote control, a pen, and a book off of an end table in the living room. To his dismay, the items were replaced shortly thereafter, giving him even more work to do.
The human was cooking, and opened a can in the kitchen. They successfully gained the full attention of Doug (Somerset, UK) from that point on.
Pippin (BC, Canada) has a whale of a time today, bravely defending the coffee table from the attack of a gold paper letter 'H' that his human was shoving up between the slates at him. He is the undisputed master of 'whack an H'.
The humans have given Athena (Surrey, UK) a nice new cat bed. She hasn't quite figured it out yet, preferring to use it as a head rest, but the main thing is, she likes it.
Lucifer's (Bavaria, Germany) human woke up in the middle of the night from a strange noise. She found nothing and just sat on her bed when suddenly the door of her wardrobe flew open and out came Lucifer, meowing for a night snack.
The human ordered a nice summer dress online, and they think it has arrived. They have to wait until Mihee (Seoul, South Korea) is done using the package to find out.
Somehow, there has now been three years of Cat News. Thank you for joining us on this journey and sharing all of the wonderful news about your cats. We are trying to make some updates to our website to make it easier to browse all the hundreds of stories we've reported on, but our CEO Pippin would rather we celebrate by giving him his lunch early. Two hours early preferably. Who knows where Cat News is going, but here's hoping Pippin never changes.
Lucifer (Bavaria, Germany) came home soaking wet from a sudden downpour. His human cuddled him in a blue crochet blanket and managed to take a photo before, three minutes later, he decided that blankets are against a proud cat's dignity.
Ollie (Ontario, Canada) says someone broke in and unrolled all the toilet paper but she scared him off so her human just didn't see him. That was very brave of her and she probably deserves treats.
Sabrina (Utrecht, The Netherlands) decided to join her human in the shower. She changed her mind when the human decided to shower with water! Why can’t humans just clean themselves with their tongues like normal people?
Its been very hot lately, and Hugo (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany) has been flopping in all places. In particular he is wondering if anyone would like to touch his belly. It would be nice if someone would trigger the trap so he can have some easy fun.
Narciso (Tuscany, Italy) was very excited in the morning. He had lots of energy and was bouncing around his human as they started the day. He did not want to play with any of his toys though, he just wanted to be excited.
There were a lot of noises coming from the closet. Apparently Matilda (Greater Manchester, UK) had decided to explore in there. She loved playing with the scarf she found. She did not love it fighting back and wrapping itself around her.
