Pippin (BC, Canada) gets his humans all to himself today! Happy Canada Day, we hope all cats in Canada get some special attention too!
Cassiel (Ontario, Canada) isn't nearly as proper as his hānai brother Terciel, and seems to think that sitting on the stairs and STARING through the bannister will cause the goat roti to levitate into his mouth.
Cookie (Ontario, Canada) seemed surprised and flustered when her human came home the other day. It wasn’t her usual chirpy welcome back, which begs the question… what was she doing when she was on her own?
Whenever the human moves between rooms in the house, Terry (Cornwall, UK) races them. Terry is always faster.
Bonnie (West Sussex, UK) has made a rule. If her humans are having snacks, she should have snacks too.
Ollie (Ontario, Canada) reports that 2:30 AM is the appropriate time to clean her human's eyebrows. Why else would he be lying down with his eyes closed?
When Prince (Bristol, UK) went out the other day, he was not expecting to be struck by nature. A leaf came out of nowhere and hit him, so he had to rush back home as fast as possible.
The cupboard opens outwards, so it should be easy to get out if one were to need to exit it from within. Katie (Dublin, Ireland) however, is perfectly willing to wait and meow continuously until a human comes and rescues her. Someone else should do the hard work of opening doors for her.
If you were wondering how things were going over here at Cat News, the main thing is that Pippin (BC, Canada) continues to wage war on any plant that the Cat News editor attempts to nurture.
Axl (Alberta, Canada) has a new ‘friend’ or love interest next door. She’s a sphinx cat and is always up on the furniture of the neighbour’s balcony. He’ll stay out there for ages switching his tail and watching her. Chatting…
Lydia (Greater London, UK) was getting very restless while her humans were eating. Eventually, they threw her a bone, or rather, a paper straw and she had a great time biting it and releasing all her pent up violence.
Summer is here and the birds and busy and twittering in the trees. Doug (Somerset, UK) is fully entranced with the show.
Jubilee (Ontario, Canada) was initially interested in preventing music practice from happening. Luckily she is easily distracted chasing after guitar picks instead.
Buster (Massachusetts, USA) was introduced to a new human friend today. They were given treats to offer him, so he could be sure they were friends, but he was too tired for treats and just yawned in their face.
Pippin (BC, Canada) is not normally interested in watching things with the humans. Recently though, when they put on a game show playing a tetris-style game, that needed his full attention.
Kira (Bavaria, Germany) has to complain that the last mouse must have been gone bad. So she was forced to vomit all the way down from the highest platform of her scratching post.
Percy’s humans have placed UV decals on the front window, but a territorial robin is still popping by to flutter its wings against its own reflection. Fortunately, the bird seems unharmed, while Percy – mesmerized by the spectacle – watches attentively from the other side of the glass.
Pebble (Nova Scotia, Canada) is a very sociable cat and absolutely loves it when the grandkids come over. She runs up to the door excitedly. This is not because she wants cuddles, its because she likes hunting them when they aren’t expecting it.
