Pippin (BC, Canada) discovered that his water fountain had not been put together exactly right after cleaning, so removed the top and chased it around until his humans discovered the problem.
We have heard word from our repawter at the North Pole: bad news! Santa's Cat has been forced to vacate their very warm and comfy spot on the back of a reindeer! Better news: Santa is confirmed to be on his way.
Pippin (BC, Canada) has taken a great interest in the Christmas tree decorations, and even managed to get one off to play with. This has had the effect of covering him with glitter, so his humans get to enjoy a very sparkly Pippin.
Biscuit (Pacific Northwest) was having a very important snooze lately, and looked completely adorable doing so.
Whatever the humans were eating, it smelled like fish, and Rom (Cambridgeshire, UK) was very certain he would like some. He decided to loudly let his humans know this for as long as he could still smell it (which was quite some time).
The humans had the door open for a bit, and Sammy (BC, Canada) came to sit on the doormat and contemplate the world. He didn't want to wander too far, he was just content to relax and sniff the rain.
Noodles (New York, USA) is feeling much better after some tummy troubles early this week. She will not, however, be eating the tuna flavored cat food any time soon. Thankfully, new cans of chicken flavored cat food arrived today.
Zac (Yorkshire, UK) has been training very hard. He is looking to fill the goalkeeper position if GB ever stands up a National Cats Football Team.
Doug (Somerset, UK) is, in theory, a very camouflaged cat, especially at night. Unfortunately his humans think this may have made him somewhat complacent, and his recent hiding places have not been very thought through. Hiding under a cushion is not quite enough to disappear.
Pippin (BC, Canada) is very excited to report that he found a bug in the house. He did nothing except watch it carefully, because he literally wouldn't hurt a fly (but he would hurt a person's feet).
The Christmas cards must be written, and predictably, Fae (Greater London, UK) is extremely invested in making the process something of an obstacle course. Cat News has received no information about whether the task was completed.
Pippin (BC, Canada) was very interested to explore a doughnut bag, and managed to get it stuck on his head. He was quickly saved from this situation by his very amused humans, but then decided to stick his head back in a second time.
Tony (California, USA) decided to go for a swim in the water dish and got water all over the kitchen floor. All the cats of the Black Cat Ranch stood around the spreading pool water looking at it in complete shock and despair. They were all upset that their paws got wet, except Tony, who was wet on all four legs.
Bonnie (West Sussex, UK) would like to remind all cats out there to make sure your human's hands are clean when they gives you treats. Lick them thoroughly to remove any crumbs.
No one knows how she did it, but Henrietta (Alberta, Canada) somehow freed a toilet roll from the holder in the washroom. She left it full of teeth marks.
Beatrice (Québec, Canada) is definitely not licking crumbs off of the dinner table. She is not a scavenger, she is a very sophisticated house cat with good manners (while the humans are watching).
Mimosa (North Holland, Netherlands) has been very casually gracing her human's desk with her presence. After a while she got bored though, and launched a surprise attack on her human's arm. For some reason the human insisted she leave the desk after that.
Tigger-Tiger (Massachusetts, USA) had to endure a visit from his vet for which his breakfast was laden with drugs. Blood was drawn after much poking and being unceremoniously wrapped in a towel despite his protests. Thankfully he escaped soon after the ordeal to his lovely perch by the back window where he curled up into a ball and covered his eyes with one paw. He is going to file a complaint with his human staff and expects extra treats and plentiful cuddles.
