Maisy (Cambridgeshire, UK) has been caught running a secret storage facility under her owner’s TV unit. A recent "raid" using a long stick revealed the extent of her collection, uncovering a stash of toy mice, vintage sweet wrappers, and assorted household trinkets she’s been diligently stowing away. While the owner was surprised by the sheer volume of the collection, Maisy appears to be monitoring the recovery efforts closely. Authorities (the owner) suggest that while the "goldmine" has been cleared, the local feline shows no signs of ending her hoarding career.
A tiny little tuxedo kitten, born prematurely, the only survivor of his litter, has warmed hearts in foster care, nursery, and the fediverse. Little Oliver (California, USA) took longer to grow and spent weeks in the kitten nursery recovering from a persistent URI. Despite it all, he is a bright and silly spirit and brought joy to all. Even better, accompanied by his stuffed seahorse toy, Oliver was adopted on his first full day available!
Jonsey (Alberta, Canada) was very skilled and caught, then devoured, a mouse during the night. Unfortunately his human went and stepped on the tail and back feet of what remained going down the stairs. Thankfully for them, they were at least wearing socks.
Bonnie (West Sussex, UK) has disguised herself as a curtain. The pigeons will never suspect a thing! Once they let their guard down, all she has to do is work out how to open the door.
It's a new year, and we want to hear about the adventures and misadventures of your feline friends! Let us know on our contact page or on one of our social media pages. All cat news is big news to Cat News.
The humans really wanted all the wrapping paper tidied up by now, but to their amazement Cookie (Ontario, Canada) is still playing with it, even now. There are little pieces she keeps spreading around the house.
Not wasting any time, Pippin's (BC, Canada) first news of the year is that he leapt up onto his cat tower and immediately snapped the platform off. The humans have some work to do to ensure he can still look out of that window from a perch.
Harvey (Cheshire, UK) wishes everyone a Happy New Year! Also, it is important that people know, he once caught a bat.
Lydia (Greater London, UK) does not know what a year is, or care. She does know that her humans stayed up far too late, and she was judging them for it... harshly.
Happy New Year from Cat News! Cats don't make resolutions, but our plans are just to make sure we spend time with our CEO Cat Pippin and keep him engaged (for everyone's safety).
